Copyright
As indicated by law, intellectual property comprises all present or future literary, artistic or scientific works characterized by their originality and expressed by any tangible or intangible medium.
The exploitation rights of the work shall last for the lifetime of the author and for another 70 years following his/her death or declaration of death.
Although copyright is an automatic right, it is advisable to carry out the registration of the creation to improve the evidence of belonging, taking into account that copyright last for another 70 years after the death of the author. Registered evidence is extremely helpful, for instance, to carry on peacefully the exploitation of the rights by the successors of the mentioned rights.
